Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and NaijaFit regarding your use of the NaijaFit mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Continued use after we publish updates means you accept the revised Terms.

NaijaFit provides personal fitness and wellness tools, including AI meal scanning, body composition estimates, activity syncing, workout plans, and coaching features.

Content in the Service — including AI suggestions, calorie estimates, body scan outputs, and coaching replies — is informational only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or clinical advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your health.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use NaijaFit. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation.

Some features are available on a free plan with usage limits. Premium features require a paid subscription billed according to the plan you select in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Prices, free trials, and renewals are shown at purchase and managed through your store account settings
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds, where available, are handled under the policies of Apple or Google
• We may change plan pricing or included limits; material changes will be communicated before they take effect for your next billing cycle where required

You agree to use NaijaFit only for personal fitness and wellness purposes, and not to:

• Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service
• Misuse AI features to harass others or generate prohibited content
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute NaijaFit content or outputs at scale
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put other users, our systems, or our partners at risk.

Meal scans, body scans, and coaching rely on AI models that can make mistakes. Results may vary based on photo quality, lighting, portion visibility, and other factors. You should review AI outputs before relying on them, and you remain responsible for how you interpret and act on that information.

NaijaFit, including its design, branding, software, food database, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes while these Terms remain in effect. You keep ownership of content you submit; you grant us a licence to host and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI estimates will always be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NaijaFit and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US$100) if you have not paid us.

You may stop using NaijaFit and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits) will continue after termination.

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
